
China has strengthened its dominance in global banking, with seven of the world’s 10 largest banks now headquartered in the country, according to The Banker‘s latest rankings. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and Bank of China occupy the top four positions. Meanwhile, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Citigroup are the only non-Chinese banks to make the top 10, highlighting China’s growing financial influence and its expanding role in the global banking system.
