Foreign investors have resumed buying Indian equities as improving economic conditions boost market confidence.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have started buying Indian stocks again after selling nearly ₹2.6 lakh crore worth of shares earlier this year. According to market analysts, lower crude oil prices, a stronger Indian rupee, steady economic growth, and continued investments by domestic institutions have helped improve investor confidence. In July alone, FIIs invested more than ₹15,000 crore in Indian equities, signaling renewed interest in the market. However, experts believe this does not necessarily mean foreign investors are fully back. They say the recent buying may be part of portfolio rebalancing rather than a long-term shift. Investors are advised to watch global economic trends and corporate earnings before expecting a sustained rise in foreign investment.
